Few weeks before the wedding day, the groom (who happens to be my workmate) asked me about where and how much are the wedding gowns in Divisoria because they are on a tight budget. To free them from the hassle of going to Divisoria I then offered to make the bride a wedding gown that is within their budget.

A week before the big day, they came over my atelier to check on some designs (wedding day is December 29 and they came over December 21). The bride tried on some pieces from my previous collection and asked me to do a white version of the aqua blue empire cut silk chiffon gown from my 2005 Holiday collection. With the bride wanting to conceal her arms, i made her a detachable puff sleeves that matches her gown.

Due to the time constraint I made a simple stretched satin dresses for the entourage (1 MOH & 3 Bridesmaids). The couples’ color of choice was champagne.
