Rizza was a referral by my fabric supplier…and she is my youngest bride to date. With barely a month left before the wedding, we’ve decided on a design that is workable within the time frame given…a tube ball gown with lace bodice and patching…
She opted for a simple design and cut but will make her feel and look like a princess…french lace bodice with a sweetheart neckline & a galaxy tulle skirt were here choice…
a 7 yards long veil of illusion tulle completed the bride’s look…

Nadia found me via a wedding forum website…and booked right away during our first meeting…
She wanted a simple wedding dress for her garden wedding…she wanted something flowy and covering her arms and belly…
I made her a white high multi chiffon empire cut, off shoulder gown with ruched bodice and french lace one shoulder strap detail…
Nadia is another “no fuss” bride…as simple as her personality she also wanted something simple on her big day…just a flowy floor length gown and none of those long trains, heavy skirts and too much beading…
A 7 yards long veil of frosted illusion tulle to top her final look…

Kath is another client from Weddings at Work who is based in Singapore…we started communicating back in March 2011 and asked me to do her entourage and prenup dresses…
Since her wedding is in 2013 we started working on her prenup dresses first…
The first dress inspiration she had was the Elie Saab gown worn by Mila Kunis at the 2011 Oscar Awards…
Kath particularly love the detail of the top as well as the color so I made her a gown that is close to her inspiration but not showing off too much skin (as her fiance does not like revealing clothes…)
Combination of chiffon and french lace in lavender is what this dress is made of…
Another dress i made for her prenup is a little pink tulip dress with black lace trimming detail on the shoulder…
She just wanted something girly…light…summery… something that compliments the location of the shoot…

Krislyn is another client via the wedding forums…she initially inquired via email about prenup dresses and eventually gave me a phone call at 10:30 in the evening…maybe because of too much excitement she wanted to come over to the shop that very moment we spoke on the phone, but since it’s already late in the evening we scheduled it on another day…
When she came over to my “shopartment” she already had an idea on how she wants to look in her prenup photos…she wanted something vintage & classic…taking inspiration from style icon Audrey Hepburn…
she also wanted something practical and convertible so that she can still wear the dress on other occasions…
so we came up with a convertible 1960′s inspired dress…something that she can wear in the office (matched with a blazer) and just put on a little something if she’s going out on a date with her husband or night out with friends…
a pencil cut, high neck and low back dress in blue gray taffeta for the main piece…and a detachable A Line skirt to give it a second look…
the Mahogany Farm in Sta. Rita, Pampanga became the perfect background for this amazing shots by photographer Bobby Delos Santos…

I met Violet through the referral of my client who is set to get married on December 2012…when she contacted me and asked me to do her prenup and wedding gown it was less than 2 months before her wedding day (57 days to be exact)…our first meeting was in my shop with her sister who happend to be her wedding coordinator as well…
Admittedly, she told me that she is not a girly – girly type of girl…she’s more of the athletic type (she used to be a football player in Ateneo) so it’ll be a bit of a challenge for me to dress her up in gowns…however, she already had a clear vision of what she wanted for her gowns…
She asked me to do 4 gowns for the most important event of her life…2 prenup gowns, dinner reception gown and her wedding gown (will blog about the reception dinner & sunrise wedding ceremony on my next post)…
It is obvious in her name that her motif is violet – african violet according to her…
The first prenup gown i made was a purple / plum organza ballgown with pleated detail on the bodice…she was like a princess dressed up for a ball and ready to meet her prince…
And since the theme of the wedding is Mediterranean (wedding ceremony took place in the magnificent Mediterranean – themed Thunderbird Resort in Poro Pt., La Union), another prenup gown I made her was a Grecian – inspired convertible gown…
The outer dress when removed turns into a cute, little and “naughty” white dress…
Camp John Hay and Session Road in Baguio City were the perfect background for this lovely couple’s engagement shoot…

The first time I met Jessica, or “Sweet” as she is fondly called by many, was in March 2011…and my first impression of her was conservative…very conservative. True enough she really is…if there are 3 words that best describes her it will be…Simple, Laid Back & Conservative.
During our first meeting she already had a clear picture of what she want for her wedding dress…a tube ballgown with an attached shawl inspired by the ballgown worn by Angelina Jolie in the movie “The Tourist”.
Bride-To-Be’s are generally known to be fickle minded…of course they only want to look their best on that most special day. On our second fitting she came with another wedding gown inspiration…something that will accentuate and flatter her body type more…only one thing is constant though…she does not want to wear white so we opted for a champagne – colored wedding dress.
We then settled for another design that is more “her”…something that will reflect her personality and sense of style…after all Sweet has a very simple and relaxed sense of style…a jeans and shirt person…not used to wearing make up and high heels.
Her final choice was an off – shoulder drop waist A – Line gown with chapel train made of Satin Gazar and Soft Stretched Tulle with embroidered bodice and hem. The veil is a 6 yards illusion tulle.
For her entourage she also wanted it short & simple…one design for bridesmaids & one design for secondary sponsors. Since her theme is “Autumn Wedding” we went for burnt orange for the entourage dresses in Elegant Satin & Stretched Knitt Tulle.
Every bride have different personalities…they have different stories to tell…and on the day they feel they are the most beautiful girl in the world…their wedding dress must be able to tell their story
Whenever I see my bride walk down the aisle I can’t help but become emotional…it’s as if i’m sending my daughter off to a far place…the friendship that was built during fittings and during the course of making the bride’s most important dress will forever be treasured…
